The house of our ego, our inner drive, fight & fire - our conscious personality.
We are now stepping into the third week of My Soul Summer where the focus is on our third chakra...
The Solar Plexus Chakra, Manipura.
This chakra is located around our Solar Plexus region, so just above our belly, between our navel region & lower chest, as you can see below with the yellow light...
The element for the Manipura Chakra is fire. This is the location which fires up our self-confidence, self-worth & self-esteem all through our interaction with others, how are we in our jobs? Are we resilient to those around us? Do we engage in the conversations we have? We can decipher the balance of our Manipura Chakra by the way we interact with others to form a true connection when we realise that it is not what we do in these situations, it is how we do act & respond in them, in order to grow our relationships.
A massive blockage in this chakra is based on our need of approval from others. This behaviour is problematic & displaces the approval outside of ourselves, when all we need to realise is the only approval we ever really need is ourselves. Approval must come from internally & only when we have established this strength to challenge societal 'norms' or expectations & stick to our highest intentions of who we really are, we are free to reveal our true faces to the world; with confidence, integrity & most importantly, a sense of wholeness in order to our mitigate our ego to not inflate with arrogance but feeling secure within.
A physical way to unblock this region is through twisted asanas (as seen in the top picture) as it not only helps to release emotionally but it is also improves our digestive tracts. We notice the solar plexus is imbalanced when we suffer issues in our digestive region and feel exhausted through adrenal fatigue. As this area tends to be based off of our social standing, both in work & in society, when we are continuously trying to keep up we can begin to burn out & feel absolutely cream crackered! But it does not need to be like this! Life is not a competition, you do not need to prove yourself to anyone. Quite the contrary, when we measure our lives by our own personal happiness...
'we freely create our own life and personal path of fulfillment.'
